Very important engineering problems you take in option to imply with Darcy's law like seepage through embankkrment dam etc. Illustration of discharge is volumetric flow rate which means taht it has units of volumen over time. Well done and THANK YOU! Also you presented Hydraulic flux and VELOCITY (or DARCY FLUX) indirectly for gravel, sand, soils and clay in area. Hydraulic flux is if we devided discharge by the area ~ we will obtain a volumetric rate per unit area. But what is marvelous how you presented velocity that isn't groundwater flow or it's velocity.
